New School Year
We have welcomed all our students back to school this week. For our new families, we would like to extend our welcome to you. The school certainly has a vibrant feel to it once again when the noise of students fills the walls.
We are incredibly proud of our students, and this is further reflected in our examination results this year. Both Year 13 and Year 11 students have achieved outstanding outcomes in the Summer examinations.
Our Year 13 students saw 76% of grades A*-C and 80% of our BTEC courses graded Merit or higher. 7 of our students achieved A*s in all their subjects. These outcomes have enabled 76% of our students to embark upon university courses with 10 students taking up apprenticeships. Luca achieved 4 A*s confirming his place at Oxford University to study Chemical Engineering.
We wish all these students the very best in the chapter of their journeys.
Our Year 11 students saw 85% of them achieving GCSE English and Maths grade 4+. We had 10 students obtain at least 4 grade 9’s. With one student Amri obtaining an impressive 9 grade 9’s.
In other successes, 13 of our 14 LAMDA students achieved distinction in their LAMDA exams so another outstanding achievement to celebrate.
We are excited to start the academic year on a positive note and look forward to celebrating the successes of our students throughout the year.
