Annual Career Fair: A Success for Our Students!
We are thrilled to reflect on the success of our recent Careers Fair, which was held for students in Years 7 through to Year 13 at the end of last week. The event provided an invaluable opportunity for our students to engage with a wide range of employers, apprenticeship providers, and institutions offering both higher and further education. The fair was designed to inspire and inform students about the various pathways available to them after school, whether they are looking towards employment, apprenticeships, or further academic studies.
The positive interactions between students and the attending organisations were truly remarkable, and we are so grateful to all those who participated. Their support by given up their time, expertise, and enthusiasm are deeply appreciated, and they have played an essential role in supporting our students’ career development. Below is a list of our stall holders.
Looking ahead, we are already in the planning stages for next year’s Careers Fair, which will take place in January. This year we had over twenty more stalls than last year and hope to continue to grow this for next year. We welcome any offers of support or participation, whether you are an employer, apprenticeship provider, or part of a higher or further education institution. The involvement of all of the participants makes a significant difference in shaping the future of our students and helping them make informed decisions about their careers.
If any of our Parents and Carers would like to participate next year, please email K.jones@glynschool.org for more details.
