House Cross Country
This week saw the start of sporting House events for the academic year, with House Cross Country getting off to a flying start! With a redesigned two-mile course of Priest Hill, students gave it their all and every student posted a commendable time. A few students posted outstanding times, with the quickest so far coming in at a staggering 11 minutes and 25 seconds.
With a change to the scoring system this year, every student's time contributes towards an overall Form time, with bonus points for the top 10 finishers. It was heart-warming to see Year 7 students supporting each other around the course and cheering their peers as they crossed the finishing line.
Following House Cross Country will be House Football, with all Form groups looking to win both the A and B team tournaments and gain valuable points for their Houses.
