The team performed exceptionally well, with their only loss coming in a closely contested match against Emanuel. Notably, in the 15-a-side format earlier in the season, Glyn had lost to Emanuel by over eight tries—showing just how far the team has progressed. A highlight of the match was Oli’s well-executed support play, finishing off Glyn’s second try.
Reigate Grammar, known for their rugby strength, were beaten convincingly, while Trinity School B—another school with a strong rugby reputation—also fell to Glyn’s determined attack.
A special mention goes to Matt in 8C, who finished the tournament as Glyn’s top try-scorer with six tries. The squad demonstrated resilience, teamwork, and skill, making the school proud.
