GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

Firstly, Alfie S (9D) has been commended for his integrity. Mrs Hartnett has said 'Alfie is an absolutely fantastic student; he frequently helps staff and students in understated, subtle ways - continually being kind, helpful and supportive in ways that he may think go unnoticed, but they don't. I wish we could clone you, Alfie! You are a STAR!'

Arjun P (7C) was also commended for his incredible endeavour. Arjun contributes, literally, EVERY lesson. His comments are insightful, thoughtful, reflective and demonstrate how much close attention he pays to lessons and to other students and their comments. Well done, Arjun!

Roman R (10D) has been highlighted for the respect that he demonstrates. His nomination reads 'Roman you are a fabulous example of someone who makes the world a happy place! Thank you for always arriving and leaving lessons with a beautiful smile, kind words and a positive attitude. Well done!

Finally Logan H (10C) has been nominated by Miss Hinchcliffe for demonstrating his kindness when helping fellow students with the 'Onshape' CAD programme in DT. Well done Logan!
