Sixth Form RAG Week Raises £2400 for Mindworks!
Last week saw an incredibly successful RAG week organised by our Year 12 students. This was an incredible success, raising a fantastic £2400 for Mindworks, a charity dedicated to supporting mental health services for young people. The week was filled with a variety of exciting activities, all organized and run by our hardworking and dedicated Sixth Form students.
Among the popular events, the Doughnut Sale was a sweet treat enjoyed by all, with students and staff eagerly grabbing a bite to support the cause. The Beat the Goalie competition brought out the competitive spirit, although I think my goalkeeping skills won’t win me any prizes. The fun didn’t stop there—students also had the opportunity to Sponge the Teacher, where brave staff members volunteered to get soaked in the name of charity.
We want to extend a huge thank you to the team of Sixth Form students who made this event possible. Their enthusiasm, creativity, and teamwork were truly inspiring, and their efforts have made a real difference to a cause that impacts so many. We are proud of all who took part and supported this meaningful initiative.
The total of £2400 will go a long way in supporting Mindworks’ vital work, and we couldn’t have achieved this without the spirit of generosity and community within our school. Well done to everyone involved, and here’s to even more success in the future.
