GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

Year 7 Form Tutors

Year 7 Form Tutors

You will be in one of eight different Form Groups when you start – there is one Form Group per House.  Each Form Group is led by a Form Tutor and you will see your Form Tutor once a day in the morning.  Your Form Tutor is there to help you to settle into Glyn School, be the key contact for your Parents or Carers and will help you with any problems that you may have.

Head of Year 7 - Mrs Regan

Mrs Regan is the Head of Year 7 and is here to support you during your time at Glyn School and will drop into your Form Time and lessons at least once a week to see how you are doing.

Mr Regan will lead Year group assemblies once a fortnight and also work with your Form Tutors on activities which you will carry out in Form Time. 

Mrs Regan will ensure that you work hard and succeed in your studies and if you are struggling they will help and support you to get you back on track.

Deputy Head of Year 7 - Miss Davies

Miss Davies is the Deputy Head of Year 7 and works very closely with Mrs Regan and will help you settle into Glyn School and to also ensure that you succeed and do well. 

Leadership and Management Team - LMT

During the transition period members of the Leadership and Management Team, in particular Mr Lightfoot, will be supporting you alongside the Year 7 Team.
