Positive act of kindness

This week when Ben was on his way home he was the first on the scene to a road traffic accident.

As a first aider through his lifeguard qualification, Ben was keen to step in to help. The gentleman who was hit was not in a good way; Ben helped support both him and the elderly lady who drove into him whilst on his moped.

During the 90 minutes of support, involving all the emergency services, Ben remained calm, delivered help to all parties and aided services with their enquiries.

Ben showed tremendous levels of maturity and integrity to support others whist in the community. This incident shows what positive acts of kindness and support our young people carry out. Ben in this case used his skills as a qualified first aider to support others in need. From the Glyn Sixth Form team, a big well done to Ben.
