GLYN VALUES ENACTED

This week, I wanted to highlight Maeson PC (9M) for the kindness that he demonstrated this week when going out of his way to help a student who had an accident on their bike on the way to school. Maeson made sure the student was okay, but also approached a member of the public to ask them to alert staff on the Sainsburys gate so they were able to come and help. Your quick thinking and good decision making under pressure is admirable. Well done Maeson!

I was really impressed by Louie N (11B's) integrity when he pointed out to me this week that I shouldn't have invited him into the canteen as it was still the turn of KS3. Despite the fact that tiredness levels are really high, I really appreciated your integrity and kindness!

Kushalean K (11B) Must be highlighted for his endeavour this half term holds the impressive accolade of having checked into the most extra curricular clubs in the Clubcard Scheme this half term with an impressive 19 check ins! It's genuinely brilliant to see you making the most of extra curricular activities which are so integral to complementing applications to Further and Higher Education.

Jack E (8B) is also recognised for his kindness and respect in being a fantastic buddy to a new member of our Glyn community - well done Jack!

A huge well done to those Form Groups who were rewarded at lunchtime today for having the highest number of achievement points within their year group. Each half term there is a different reward for those form groups that stand out with regards to their attitude to learning and contribution to a positive school environment. This half term reward was a Dominoes Pizza lunch which was enjoyed by 7 Carew, 8 St Benet, 9 Abbey, 10 Carew, 11 Carew, 12 Derby and 13 St Benet.

As the first half term comes to a close, we also congratulate our highest achievement point scorers in each year group. Congratulations to the following students who are clearly embodying all of our school values of Respect, Integrity, Kindness & Endeavour.

Aaron M (7C), Cameron S (8M), Ronnie T (9A), Grady G (10D), Dillan V (11D), Maxim C (12M1) and Matthew W (13A).

The reward for those form groups from each Year Group who best demonstrate our school values next half term is an Afternoon Tea!
