GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

Congratulations to Ezekiel (11D) and Neel (11C) for being accepted into the Young Reporters Scheme! What a fantastic opportunity and we commend you for beginning your journalistic career with such integrity and enthusiasm. Keep an eye out for Neel and Eze’s work. Big Brother Invades Residents, Ezekiel Bertrand, Glyn School | This Is Local London 

Thanks to both of these students’ participation in the scheme, a Psidium Guajava tree has been planted in Western Cameroon on behalf of Glyn School by the This Trees for the Future (TREES) agroforestry project to help address erosion, food insecurity and overcome the unsustainable farming practices of smallholder cocoa farmers.
