LAMDA Showcase Congratulations!
London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art) showcase evening that saw 30 of our students’ relatives coming to the Drama Studio to see what students have been working on in their private LAMDA lessons every Friday since October, with LAMDA teacher, Susanna. LAMDA is a nationally recognised qualification where students from Years 7 to 12 take on the challenge of learning and performing up to three pieces to a LAMDA examiner. The grades range from 4-6, with Grade 6 Bronze Awards bringing UCAS points with them for the upper school students.
There was a range of acting approaches taken: monologues, duologues, public speaking and devised. All the students who performed on the evening, and to the examiner on Sunday 27 February, did a wonderful job and we look forward to their results coming through in approximately 4-6 weeks’ time.
