GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

CHRISTMAS TREES (PREMIUM NORDMANN - NON-DROP)

Once again, the Glyn PSA is running the successful Christmas Tree Sale.

As a school, we have managed to secure a great deal with our local supplier at discount rates, meaning we are able to sell the best quality Premium Nordmann Non-Drop trees at a cheaper price than you would pay in most garden centres and we have once again maintained last year’s prices in all but our 8-9 foot Nordmann Fir which has gone up £5. Prices start from £40. Our 7ft-8ft tree would normally cost in the region of £80 to £90. The Glyn price is just £60!

Please support our efforts and buy your tree from Glyn School. You can order via ParentPay.

If you have family members or know of any ex-Glyn Families who wish to purchase a tree, they too can take advantage of this offer and pay via a bank transfer, please email a.thompson@glynschool.org for further information.

Trees will be available for collection from the school car park on the morning of Saturday 30 November and Saturday 7 December between 8.30am and 10.30am. This year we are also again offering a local delivery service for only £6 or self-collection direct from the farm in Banstead (by arrangement) from Saturday 30 November.

To arrange delivery please add delivery (£6) to your basket on ParentPay and in the notes section add the following:

  • The name of the person placing the order
  • The full delivery address (including postcode) and any specific delivery instructions including if you are not going to be in, a safe location where you would like the tree to be left
  • A mobile number which you can be contacted on regarding your order and delivery
  • Your preferred date for delivery
  • Your preferred pm time. Please be aware we are unable to take specific times for the tree to be delivered

Please be aware if you select delivery, we will need to pass your name, mobile number and address to the supplier.

Deliveries will take place approximately between 1.00pm and 5.30pm. We are sorry but we are unable to offer a morning delivery this year but we have added in extra days:

  • Tuesday 3 December
  • Wednesday 4 December
  • Thursday 5 December
  • Tuesday 10 December
  • Wednesday 11 December
  • Thursday 12 December

To arrange farm collection from Saturday 30 November, please add collection from the farm to your basket on ParentPay (free service) and in the notes section add the following:

  • The name of the person placing the order
  • The name of the person collecting the tree
  • Your preferred date for collection from Saturday 30 November.

Opening times 10.00am to 5.00pm seven days a week.

In order that we can process all orders the deadlines for orders will be Monday 25 November.
