House News

As we are approaching the end of this half term and competitions are coming to a close, the tension is palpable between the Houses. We are still collecting the final results from House Cross Country and the final results from House Music can be seen below. Well done to everyone who took part, a special congrats to the talented individuals who have been invited to perform at the much awaited Christmas Concert on the Tuesday 10 December (more info coming soon) and thank you to Mrs Davis and Miss Furness for organising everything!

The full breakdown of winners and runners-up by category and House can be seen below.

In other news:

  • The final deadline to get your spooky short films into Mr Secular for the first ever House Film competition is on Monday 21 October - we are excited to see all of the hard work and effort that has been put into these projects.
  • House Year 7-Year 10 TTRS kicks off soon (a three week competition starting from Saturday 19 October untill Sunday 10 November). Remember to log-in and answer questions as frequently as you can to top the leader board quickly! Only points earned between the hours of 9.00am-6.00pm count towards the competition and you can go to M8 at lunchtimes to play.

As you can see the current Victor Ludorum Leader board has St Benet, Merton and Abbey in the podium positions. But there is still all to play for…(and Oaks isn’t far off!)

Thank you all for your enthusiasm and your wonderful commitment to your House, we your House Leaders immensely appreciate it.

Miss H Daudi (Oaks House Leader) and Miss S Edge (Merton House Leader)
