GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

HOUSE ART 2024

This year we had a lot of entries from students right the way across the school producing work in a variety of media on the theme, ‘What is Art’. This broad theme gave students the ability to produce work from abstract paintings to more traditional rendering on their take of ‘What is Art?’. There were some exceptional entries which shows the talent of students at Glyn and all students should be pleased with their work and efforts. Judging was hard!

The students this year had a chance to have their work submitted for the Bourne Hall, Ewell Art Exhibition which starts on Tuesday 24 September and runs till Saturday 28 September for the public to see their work. I think it is important that students gain a sense of exhibiting their work.

Here are some samples of students works below that are on show at Bourne Hall. Congratulations on all students submitting work. It was a pleasure to see your talent at Glyn.
