GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

HOUSE UPDATE - HOUSE E-SPORTS & ART

This week saw the launch of the first house events of the year in E-Sports and Art. I have seen a lot of the entries that have been placed on Mr Braybrook’s desk and the competition this year has definitely gone up a level! Mr Braybrook will be casting his professional eye over the entries this weekend as we should have results published in time for next week’s newsletter.

The 2nd ever House E-Sports took place this week after its successful debut last year. Mario Kart was once again the game of choice and the students, and staff, had a blast in S3 with Mr Hanna and Mr Howard. The results are still coming in as this is being written, so again, results will be published in time for next week’s newsletter.
