LSE MODEL UNITED NATIONS
Eight Glyn students spent their weekend at the LSE Model United Nations in London, where they acted as delegates of countries in their respective committees.
Personally, I was part of the UNODC working towards a resolution on drug trafficking in Latin America. After three long days, we were able to reach an agreement, with the friends I had made along the way going up to present our work at the closing ceremony.
While difficult and draining, the LSEMUN was an incredible experience, and we even had Glyn recognition through Lewis P winning an award for success in the UNEP committee.
A special thanks to Mr Hicks and Mr Lightfoot for organising and joining us at LSE for the weekend.
