Why not enter our translation competition?
Do you love languages and would like to add something special to your CV? The Anthea Bell Prize for Young Translators, a translation competition run and judged by Oxford University, is calling all linguists to take part in the very prestigious competition. It is open to all year groups. You would need to translate a short text into English, from home and with the support of dictionaries from a foreign language of your choice among Spanish, French, Mandarin, Italian or German.
In the last two years two of our students have been awarded a commendation prize selected out of 14.000 participants!
If you are interested come to the 1st session on Monday 19 February in L1 at 3.05pm.
