Amazing Year 11 Art Work
On Tuesday 28 February and Wednesday 1 March, Glyn School Year 11 artists undertook their Art PPE. This 10-hour Controlled Assessment not only gave students the chance to experience what their final Controlled Assessment after the Easter break will be like, but was also used as an uninterrupted time to complete students’ Final Outcomes for their Identity projects. Their artwork addressed personal themes such as war and conflict, mental health, illness, the Covid lockdowns and individual cultures, culminating in a set of responses which are highly personal and mature. Similarly, the students must be credited for their outstanding technical ability and superb behaviour. All students worked extremely hard to produce an artwork which really reflects the best of their ability – exactly what a Final Outcome should be!
Well done to all students involved and a special thanks to Ms Scafidi, Mrs Stevens and Mr Braybrook for their support.
