Glyn School has the following vacancies for Casual Staff: Casual Examination Invigilator.

We are currently recruiting for the role of Examination Invigilator. This is a flexible, casual position and we are interested in hearing from all candidates seeking flexible work, whether you are a Parent, retired professional or gap year university student. Examinations take place in the morning or afternoons, allowing for flexible working patterns.

Examination Invigilators support the school's Examinations Officer and Team in the smooth and effective administration of examinations, in accordance with board regulations. This includes invigilating students, managing the room, distributing papers and other duties as necessary to ensure the integrity of the examination process. Working as a team, Exam Invigilators ensure a calm, organised and conducive environment for students, enabling them to do their best. Detailed training in examination board regulations and other aspects of the role will be provided.

Applicants will:

  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with students and members of staff clearly, calmly and accurately.
  • Demonstrate good organisational skills.
  • Have the ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Be able to work with others as part of a team or alone.
  • Have good time management skills: reliability and punctuality.  

Salary £10.48 per hour
