GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

Biology Enrichment Lecture - Tuesday 28 September from 3.15pm to 4.15pm in S3

All Years

Mr Matthews will be hosting our first Biology Enrichment Lecture for the year, as above. He will be explaining life, the discovery of DNA, and the Human Genome project. This lecture will be incredibly useful to Year 11 and Year 12 Biology students,  but it is open to any students across all Year groups who would like to find out more about DNA. Please join us!

KS3 Science Club - Years 7 and 8

KS3 Science Club will be back in action every week from Monday 27 September in S9 at lunchtime. Students in Years 7 and 8 are invited to join us for experiments, investigations, competitions and loads of Science-filled fun.  Students should speak to their Science teacher if they have any questions about the club, or just come along to find out what it is all about.

KS4 Chemistry Club - Years 9, 10 and 11

KS4 Chemistry Club will be starting on Thursday 30 September in S4 at lunchtime.  Please come along to join in some Chemistry experiments, demonstrations, projects and competitions. If you would like to know more about it, do talk to your Chemistry teachers.
