Glyn Values Enacted

Harry S (12D) has been nominated by Mr Sinclair who has commended him for his integrity. ‘Harry has as always been focussed on all the information given in form time, has been proactive in getting things handed out while also asking if it is okay for him to do so and just generally been respectful and helpful.’

Rory M (8C) has been highlighted for his fantastic endeavour. Miss Lindley has highlighted that Rory has been fantastic in entering a variety of literary competitions and his remarkable animations reflect the high level of effort he is putting into his work’

Alfie S (9D)has been recognised by Miss Furness for his kindness. ‘Every single week without being asked he will help to tidy the classroom and pack away others instruments, tuck in chairs and straighten tables.’  Thank you Alfie

Alfie M (8A) has been commended for his kindness and respect. Mrs Bellanca has reported ‘In every lesson I have seen Alfie show great kindness to his peers by offering to help them in class. He is always polite and willing to offer help in every language lesson.’ Well done Alfie!

A mention to Spencer A-R (11B)- a student who demonstrates all of our school values consistently and seemingly effortlessly. I've really appreciated your excellent navigational skills around the Surrey countryside with the CCF ⭐

Finally, Last Friday Daniel V (9D) with the Police Cadets along with a small group of friends did a sponsored sleep out to raise money for a homeless shelter.  They only had sleeping bags and the clothes they were wearing and slept outside for the night.  He and his fellow cadets raised £2000 for a homeless shelter in Surrey. – This is a lovely story about doing your bit in your community and raising money for a worthy cause. Well done Daniel on doing such a great selfless act and well done despite a lack of sleep last weekend having perfect punctuality and attendance this week.
