GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

First Tech Challenge

On Wednesday 11 December Glyn School were able to attend the First Tech Challenge South East Scrimmage at Harris Academy Sutton. This was to network with other schools, develop the Glyn Titans Robot and see how we compare with other schools.

Mr Macgregor took 15 students to this event, and it was an excellent day. The students were able to work on the engineering of the robot, the code and look to develop the functionality. Jacob, Kiitan and Ben done an outstanding job leading the team and representing the school at this event. Special shout out to Hamish who has done an incredible job on the Engineering work and Programming side of the course. Special shout out also to Tom and Jack who have done an outstanding job on the team website.
