GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

House Computing

This week we saw some fantastic competition for our first ever House Computing and last House event of the year. Students were tasked with programming robots to explore the world of driverless vehicles using Lego Mindstorm. Students had one hour to program a driverless vehicle from a starting point to several other points and back without any detours. For each journey completed it was worth a certain amount of ‘money’ for the company (Houses). A massive well done to 7M who managed to earn £4,840 and 8C who earned £4,170. Year 9s completed their driverless journeys today after school.
