GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

A SPECIAL VISIT FROM 25 CHINESE STUDENTS

We are thrilled to announce an extraordinary opportunity that our school community will soon experience. In the week beginning 29 January, we will have the honour of hosting twenty five students from China, who will be immersing themselves in our daily school life for the week. This visit marks a significant step in our journey towards global understanding and international citizenship.

To ensure our guests have a truly enriching experience, each of the visiting students will be paired with a buddy from our school. This buddy system is designed to foster friendships, encourage cultural exchange, and provide a supportive environment for our visitors. We believe this will be a valuable experience for both our students and our guests, as they share their daily lives, learn from each other, and build lasting connections.

We eagerly anticipate the arrival of our Chinese friends and look forward to a fruitful and enjoyable experience. This visit is not just an opportunity for cultural immersion but also a chance to build bridges of understanding and friendship that extend far beyond our school's walls.
