GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

Community Fundraising for Epsom Foodbank and Pantry

The Foodbank and the Epsom Pantry aims to ensure that nobody in our local community has to go hungry, but they need help to make this happen. Our donations would help make a real difference. Last Christmas the Foodbank supported more people than ever and numbers this December are expected to be even higher due to the current economic crisis.

As a school, this year we are focusing on collecting items which can be used to make Christmas goodie bags for families. The items we have been asked to collect this year are:

  • Toiletries such as deodorant, shampoo, etc
  • Christmas Cake
  • Selection Boxes
  • Savoury Christmas Snacks
  • Christmas Pudding
  • Yule Logs
  • Christmas Chocolate Tubs
  • Mince Pie
  • Christmas Biscuits
  • Custard
  • Tinned Ham
  • Packet Stuffing
  • Gravy Granules
  • Yorkshire Pudding Mix

Please be aware, neither charity can accept food items which contain alcohol.
