GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

Weightlifting Success in U17s 96 kg British Weightlifting Title at Brunel

Ollie (12SB) has been training with British Weightlifting since the Autumn after being selected to represent the Southern Counties. This week he competed for BWL in the U17s 96 kg British Weightlifting Title at Brunel which he won! Alongside this he also set two new British records for his age group in snatch and combined weight. 

His dedication to his training along his studies is really commendable. 

Glyn School are proud of the achievements Ollie has made in such a physically demanding sport.
