Appeal for Plastic Lids

The DT (Design Technology) Department is starting a new plastics recycling project with Year 7 students and is appealing for plastic lids to shred, melt down and   recycle.

Specifically, we need LDPE (Low Density Polyethylene) lids - recycling symbol 2 -  which are commonly found on drinks, milk bottles ,etc.

If you can help, please ask your child to bring the plastic lids directly to the DT  department.  Many thanks.  Mr Toye, Head of Design Technology
