Welcome to the Summer Term
I hope everyone had a lovely Easter break and enjoyed the sunshine. It has been lovely to welcome our students back to school this week and seeing them looking rested after the holiday.
This term sees the start of the public GCSE and A Level exams. Our students have been studying hard at home, with many also attending Easter Revision sessions in school over the Easter holidays. With just 14 days left in school for our Year 11 students, and 19 days left for our Year 13 students, there has been a renewed focus and vigour amongst our student body, with the end now in sight.
Likewise, our Years 10 and 12 students are keeping their eyes on the goal. This week we welcomed our Year 12 students and their Parents and Carers into The Proctor Hall for an excellent talk delivered by Michele Miller, Educational Consultant, focusing on Independent Learning. This session was excellent preparation for students’ transition from Year 12 to Year 13. Next week sees the start of our Year 10 PPE exams and I would like to wish our students all the best as they prepare for these.
We have a busy and exciting Summer term ahead of us; I have no doubt that our students will rise to the challenge.
