The Tony Cooper House Spelling Bee Final and Results
On Tuesday 30 November, the eagerly anticipated Tony Cooper House Spelling Bee Final took place in The Proctor Hall. Following last week’s heats, the top three students from each Year group competed to win the coveted Tony Cooper House Spelling Bee trophy.
It was a very competitive Final, with students correctly spelling an impressive array of words, such as ‘sacrilegious’, ‘chrysanthemum’ and ‘cataclysm’. We were very impressed and astounded to see the skill and knowledge that the students showed during the evening.
