Hockey at Glyn School

On Thursdays after school, students have been participating in Glyn Hockey Club. From complete beginners to experienced hockey players, more than 25 students each week have been working on new skills with Mr Trusler and Mr Sidhu. Raising student participation in a new sport has been a huge focus for the Glyn PE department, so we are delighted to see a number of students trying out something new, whilst getting fresh air and exercise.

The Glyn PSA has kindly donated the funds for new hockey goals for the Astro Turf, which will help with our aim of producing Glyn’s first ever Hockey team to play fixtures against other schools, which is a very exciting prospect!
