GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

AFC Wimbledon Scholarship for Ollie 10D

After years of hard work anAFC Wimbledon picd commitment, Ollie 10D was offered a football scholarship with AFC Wimbledon.  This placement has been confirmed a year earlier than normal, as Ollie is still only 14 years old and therefore an U15 player, when this scholarship would normally be something confirmed in a player's U16 year.  This means that after next season (the end of Year 11), Ollie will join AFC Wimbledon’s scholarship programme, which will take him through their U18s squad.

We are incredibly proud of Ollie's achievement and look forward to following his progress.
