Student Mental Health Week -Â Be Creative!
Two weeks prior to half term was Student Mental Health Week and the theme was ‘be creative!’. With this is mind, students were tasked with taking some time during the week to do just that, and we had some superb examples:
A montage of life in lockdown by Alex in Year 9:
Custom Lego builds by Thomas in Year 7:
A poem by Alistair in Year 9:
Trapped, the feeling of not feeling,
Everyday, a repeat of the one before,
Nowhere to go, no one to see,
The only time a breeze can be felt is on the lonely walks,
The walks that give toes numbness,
The walks that give your face soreness,
A room. A room is a cell,
Emptiness fills the room,
Emptiness fills me,
A TV feeding brain-rotting images into my mind; useless images that have no meaning,
No meaning, yet it means so much to me.
7 St Benet chose a quote with fonts to express who they are:
I would like to say a huge thank you to all students who took part.
