GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

Parental Support for Students in Years 11 and 13

'The Parents' Guide To'

The website www.theparentsguideto.co.uk has been designed to help Parents and Carers with unbiased information to help their teenage children.  The website has free support and advice pages, answers to Parents’ and Carers’ most common questions and a monthly newsletter with regular updates, which you can sign up for.

As part of their support, ‘The Parents’ Guide To’ has created two new free guides which give advice about helping children stay on track whilst studying for either GCSE or Sixth Form qualifications, especially now that schools are closed to the majority of students and formal examinations have been cancelled.
