Music - Christmas Videos
Year 7 House Music 2020
This week saw the joyful return of Year 7 House Music. On Monday, each Year 7 Form separately recorded their version of Wizzard’s ‘I Wish it Could Be Christmas Every Day’ in The Proctor Hall. The performances were all filmed and have been combined into a mass choir version of the song.
The judging panel then sat down and deliberated placing, discussing not only the musicality of the performances, but also the dance moves and confidence that each Form created. The competition was close, with all Forms excelling in their musicality and seeing several Forms topping the performance charts. Following a long debate, the judges made their decision:
1st place is awarded to 7 Merton
2nd place is awarded to 7 St Benet
3rd place is awarded to 7 Tudor
The Music department would like to congratulate all Forms for their effort and participation. We thoroughly enjoyed the day with Year 7 students.

Jingle Bell Rock
At this time of year we would usually be welcoming families to our Carol Concert at St Mary’s Church in Ewell Village, providing festive performances from our wonderful musicians. This year we have created something a little different; students have been working on a performance of ‘Jingle Bell Rock’ and recorded their own parts in the comfort of their own homes. The piece (arranged by Mr Cooke) includes many students, our hard working Peripatetic Music Teachers, and is sprinkled with a bit of festive joy provided by some of the staff.
Please enjoy our rendition of Jingle Bell Rock - https://youtu.be/8iyWnYmlm0g
