Football Charity Event in aid of Cancer Research and Macmillian
We're thrilled to report the success of our recent charity football tournament, which has ignited a spirit of community and competition during lunchtimes.
The tournament saw our Year 7s and 8s battling it out on the pitch, with Tudor emerging victorious in the Year 7 category, and Oaks claiming the title in Year 8. This event has not only showcased the talents of our young athletes but has also brought our school community together for a meaningful cause. So far, we've managed to raise an impressive £200, but our fundraising efforts are far from over. With the eagerly anticipated Year 9 tournament and a staff game still on the horizon, we're determined to add even more to our donation pool. Our chosen charities, Macmillian Cancer Support and Cancer Research UK will undoubtedly benefit greatly from our collective efforts.
A huge congratulations goes to Ki, Luca, Alfie and Umair for their outstanding organization of this fantastic event and thank you to all the other Year 9 pupils who have helped with the running of these tournaments. Together, we're making a difference!
