GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

Outstanding Performance Award for Year 8 Student

Kai (8B) recently passed selection for the V & P String Academy Ensemble group which took part in the 90th Anniversary Sutton Music Festival on 26 November 2023. The ensemble played “Palladio” composed by Karl Jenkins and were recognised for their outstanding performance, winning the Instrumental Ensemble Challenge Shield. They were presented with a Certificate and Shield by the Mayor. HERE you can see a video of the performance.

This is testament to Kai's hard work and dedication and is fully deserved. He practices at least thirty minutes a day, which shows that consistent hard work pays off.
