Rivers Fieldwork
After three long years, it was such a pleasure to be able to take our Year 10 geographers out into the field again. Over 120 students visited three sites along the River Tillingbourne in Dorking to investigate changes in river characteristics and landforms. This was a brilliant opportunity for students to put their theoretical knowledge of river processes into practice.
The students did us very proud with their enthusiasm and hard work - and impressed us with their range of footwear, including wellies, slippers, and sliders! We only hope that the meanders and oxbow lake scar lived up to the hype. Dr Bhasin, Head of Geography
