GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

HP Doors for 02.07.21Year 7 Door Decorating Competition to Celebrate Harry Potter Book Night 2021

Wow!  What an incredible moment it was to go to the grand viewing of the Diagon Alley doors within the MFL block. All, and I mean all, of the Year 7 Form groups did an outstanding job of creating fabulous front of store displays. 

A special well done to our winners, 7 Bourne, who put on an incredible interactive experience, with ice creams, music and a seating area for staff!

Joint second place goes to 7 Oaks, who had potions brewing and bubbling in the background, flashing fairy lights and potions EVERYWHERE, and to 7 St Benet for their interactive newspaper article and their hilariously brilliant character profiles on display.

Well done to all Year 7 Forms; it was lovely to see you working together and going ‘above and beyond’ to put on a spectacular show of which you should be very proud.
