GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

The Gallagher Premiership Rugby Final for Former Glyn Student, Archie White

We were delighted when Paul Taylor from ‘What’s On In My Town’ got in touch with us this week to let us know that he had interviewed former student, Archie White, who plays back row for Harlequins, ahead of The Gallagher Premiership Rugby Final tomorrow, Saturday 26 June.  During the interview, Archie talks about how he began his rugby career and the encouragement he was given by Glyn School and, in particular, former Master in Charge of Rugby, Mr Hawkes.
